Son of Amos Elias Sweet & Hannah Richardson. He married Sally Sweet (3rd. cousin) on the June 16, 1796, in Attleboro, Bristol, MA and continued living there as a Blacksmith. He and his wife, Sally are both buried in Old Kirke Graveyard, Attleboro, MA. Children are: Sally, Clarissa, Sumner, Margaret, Amos Elias III, Hannah I, [died @ age 4], Joabert I, [died @ age 2], Hannah II & Jaobert Sweet II.

Note: His parents and younger siblings were the first family to settle in Harford, Susquehanna Co., PA. They occupied the cabin first erected, 1790, as a rendazvous for the "eight". Amos Sweet II was one of the few that stayed in Attleboro, MA where he & Sally raised their family.
