He was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Barney and Stella McMillian.
He retired from Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in the late 1970s and was active in the United Methodist Church.
His wife, Maxine McMillian, died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Shumaker, Linwood; and two grandchildren.
