Samuel B. Becker, 93, formerly of Bangor and Easton, PA passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Bloomsburg Geisinger Hospital. Samuel was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Frank and Mary Elizabeth (Kimenhour) Becker. Samuel was married to the former Eleanor Nerino for 67 years before her passing on November 8, 2015.

He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1940. He served in the US Army Air Corp. during World War II. Samuel was a supervisor for Waste Water Treatment Plant in Warminster, PA, before retiring in 1987. He also taught classes at Bucks County Community College for waste water treatment. Samuel was a board member of the Easton waste water treatment plant.

He was a past member at Harker's Hollow Golf Club in Phillipsburg, NJ, enjoyed playing cards, hunting, and was active in the Blue Valley Bowling League. He served as Justice of the Peace of Bangor, PA in the 1960's and 1970's. Samuel was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. He was a member of the Lion's Clubs of Warrington and Wilson where he served as President. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 750 and a Grand Knight 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus, Father Denisco Council in Roseto, PA.

Samuel is survived by his daughters Deborah Karner and husband Jeffrey of Solebury, PA, Patricia Flynn of Bloomsburg, PA; grandchildren Eric Karner, Sean Karner, Erin Flynn; great-grandchildren Samuel and Henry Karner.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
