Calvin Raymond “Ray” Price Sr., 79, of Connellsville passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Feb. 26, 1936 in Mill Run, a son of the late William P. and Dora (Smith) Price. Ray retired from Frostbrink & National Wire as a Wire Mill and Machinist. He served his country in the US Army National Guards. Ray enjoyed playing Bingo, and the outdoors, especially when hunting and fishing. He was a member of So. Connellsville Rod & Gun Club, and the former Sons of Columbus. Ray is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bonnie (Johnston) Price, a son, Calvin R. Price Jr. and wife Danielle of Connellsville, a grandson, Nycholas Johnson, two brothers; William R. Price of Baltimore, MD, and Leroy S. Price of Miss., a sister, Wanda Waugh and husband Richard of Baltimore, MD, two sisters-in-law, Florence Price of Connellsville, and Barbara Smith of Baltimore, MD, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by three brothers; Charles D. Price, Virgil P. Price, and Kenny J. Price, and a sister, Naomi Linderman. Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME 123 S. 1st St. West Side, Connellsville on Tues. from 2-4 and 6-8PM and Wed. from 9:30-10AM the hour of service in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. Interment will follow in Normalville Cemetery.
