Clara Millie (Bigham) Grady is the daughter of Joseph Richard Bigham and Mary Elizabeth(Weeks) Bigham.

She was the wife of John Collins Grady and a beloved neighbor and friend of all those who knew her in our neighborhood. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Grady was killed instantly in a freak mishap, at her home. She was attending to her flower garden, which bordered the left side of her home. On that side of her home was the driveway of her next door neighbor. At 6:45 a.m., while Mrs. Grady was still in her flower garden, her neighbor returned home from taking her husband to work and turned into the driveway-the brakes on her car failed just as she turned into the driveway - and she accidently ran into Mrs. Grady, pinning her against her house and killing her instantly.
