ST. CLEMENTS. William Haffner, 65, retired farmer, died at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener, Saturday. Deceased was born in Wilmot township on Dec. 27, 1873. He farmed for many years near Hawkesville. Deceased was a member of St. Clements R.C. Church and Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, four sons, Milton and Edgar of New Hamburg, George of St. Clements, and Clarence, of Waterloo,, daughter, Mrs. Frank Gies St. Clements, one sister, Mrs. Voll of St. Agatha and one step brother, John R. Arnold and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. at St. Clements R.C. Church with interment in the adjoining .cemetery.
