Jean E. Fuhrman

Jean E. Fuhrman, 78, of 1600 Graystone Road, Manheim passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Brethren Village following a lengthy illness. Born in Loysville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence L. and Laura B. Dolby Hess. Jean was the wife of Levi A. Fuhrman and they would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in July of this year. She worked part-time for Weis Markets, Manheim Pike for over 15 years. Jean was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim where she was a former Sunday school teacher and active in the nursery. She was also a former Cub Scout Den Mother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Garry W. husband of Beth Fuhrman and Barry L. husband of Catherine Fuhrman both of Columbia; a daughter, Judy A. Risner of Lancaster; nine grandchildren, two brothers, Larry husband of Mary Hess of Newport, Ronald husband of Mary Hess of Loysville and a sister, Esther wife of Edward Reikard of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Salem United Methodist Church 140 North Penn Street Manheim, PA on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard W. Conner officiating. Interment in Camp Hill Cemetery, Mount Joy, Pa.
