Mike Wilder, 73, of Davenport passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 18, 2015.
Mike was born on June 2, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Clifford E. and Dorothy (Davis) Wilder. He was united in marriage to Sandy "Bear" on June 13, 1996 in Davenport.
He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. Mike retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1997. He loved working in his garage and thoroughly enjoyed comping.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Linda (Bob) Jefferys; stepsons Troy and Todd Geiger; adopted son DJ Armstrong; siblings, Jerry Davis, Nikki Magnetti, Vicki VonMinden and Bettty Tanis; and many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 5-7PM, Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the mortuary. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
