COOKEVILLE- Funeral services for Mrs Clyda Herron, 74, of Route 2, Cookeville, will be held Sunday, July 22, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with Brother Cherles Myers officiating. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery in White County.
Mrs. Herron died Friday July 20, 1984, in Cookeville General Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Putnam County, she was the daughter of S.K and Charity Carter Dobbs.
She was a housewife.
Her family includes one daughter, Ruby Cleo Williams of Baxter; one son, Earl Herron of Cookeville; one brother Claude Dobbs of Baxter; Five sisters, Avo Allison of Cookeville, Lorene Sherrell, Ema Harris, Ova Exum, all of Sparta, Dorthy Hawn of Michigan; and six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
