RICHARD CARROLL STECK, a retired sales executive, died Saturday, March 20, of pneumonia. He was 91.

Steck, 2037 Pickett Ave., Orlando, was the father of Stephen McKenney Steck, president of public broadcasting stations WMFE-Channel 24 and WMFE-FM (90.7).

Born in Gettysburg, Pa., Steck moved to Orlando in 1927. He was a member and former elder and Clerk of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. He also was a past president of Yowell's Young Presbyters Sunday school class.

Besides Stephen Steck, survivors include another son, Richard C. Steck II, Miami; sisters, J. Catharine Steck and Margaret S. Miller, both of Carlisle, Pa.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Beacon Cremation Service of Central Florida handled arrangements.
