He departed this life in Ripley, Tennessee, on December 8, 2015. He was 60 years old.
Don attended the Delta C-7 school system and then went to Cotton Boll Vo-Tech at Burdette, Arkansas. Before his retirement, he was the service manager for Churchill Motors.
Don was known for his mechanic skills. He loved working on any type of engines and especially ones for race cars. He also loved fishing and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather Riggs and husband Les of Caruthersville, his son, Dustin Drumright and wife Tiffany of Caruthersville, his fiancée, Tammy King of Ripley, Tennessee, the mother of his children, Tawnia Chantler of Caruthersville, eight siblings, Nancy Weeks, Robert Drumright Sr., Tim Drumright, Alex Drumright, Gary Drumright, Mary Lytle, Les Drumright and Harold Drumright. Five grandchildren, Gavin Mansfield, Logan Fisher, Avery Riggs, Addalyn Drumright and Olivia Drumright, many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry David Drumright and a sister, Carol Sue Mathenia.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Interment was in Pemiscot Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Robert Drumright Sr., Tim Drumright, Alex Drumright, Gary Drumright, Les Drumright and Robert Drumright Jr.
