James Linwood Bristow, 71, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2015.
He retired from Rock Tenn after 37 years of service and was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church.
James was preceded in death by his first wife Leah Bristow, father Walter Linwood Bristow, a sister Suzie and brother-in-law Robert “Bobby” Darnell.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Bristow; mother Madeline Bristow; children Donna Hudgins, Tammy McLaughlin and Devan Doughty; a brother Walter “Lee” Bristow (Brenda); a sister Christine Darnell; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 22nd at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shackelfords Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
