Paul Epperson, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 18, 2015. Mr. Epperson was a valiant warrior in the Korean Conflict and a dedicated employee of 43 years with SE Massengill/Glaxo Smith Kline Beecham.

He attended First Christian Church in Bristol, VA. He was a very kind, loving, generous husband, father, brother and friend.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Epperson, of Hermitage, TN and his son, Larry Epperson of Portland, Or.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Lennie Bishop Epperson of Bristol, TN; his parents, Rev. Bob Epperson and Anna Lee Keller Epperson; his brothers, Robert, Neil, David and Joe Epperson of Bristol, TN; his sisters, Beulah Clark, Thelma Johnson, Margaret Duke, and Mary Ann Wilson, of Bristol, TN.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Cox officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
