The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday at New Center Christian Church where he was a member. The Rev. Jimmy Shirlen and the Rev. Bennie Maness will officiate. The burial will be at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, a well known potter, and a retired furniture worker.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Jordan Albright of the home; four daughters, Doris Williams of Star, Edna Smith of Seagrove, Eula McNeill of Seagrove, Patricia Upton of Asheboro; stepdaughter, Sandra Snyder of Franklinville; three sons, Harold Albright, Arlie Albright, both of Seagrove, Carroll Albright of Asheboro; sisters, Mary Chriscoe and Grace Marley, both of Seagrove; three brothers, Curtis Albright, Carlie Albright, and Elton Albright, all of Seagrove; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Dora Chriscoe Albright.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Star and other times at 6626 New Center Church Rd., Seagrove.
