Clarence Edward Baechler of St. Clements died last Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital Kitchener. He was 60.
Born in Hawkesville, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Baechler. He was a member of St. Clements Roman Catholic Church and of the Council of Catholic Men.
Surviving are his wife, the former Katherine Dehler; one daughter. Mrs. Carl (Alice) Dietrich of Hespeler; three brothers. Frederick, St. Clements. Peter. Kitchener, Harry, St. Thomas; four sisters. Mrs. Harvey (Carrie) Doll. Terrance. B.C.. Mrs. John (Edna) Logel, Waterloo; Mrs. Jack (Henrietta) Clark. Kitchener; Mrs. Jack (Mae) Faurit, Niagara Falls and three children.
Requiem high mass was at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church Saturday morning. Burial took place in the church cemetery'.
