Mrs.Flora Landon,82,widow of Horace Landon, died at 11:15 am Monday in the Decatur and Macon county hospital after a long illness.
Mrs.Landon was born in Greene county, Dec.29, 1849 and was married to Horace Landon there in 1866. She leaves two children,E.L.Landon of Decatur and Charles Landon of Springfield and the following brothers and sisters, Eugene Converse,Greenfield,Dr.Harry Converse, Carrollton, TrumanConverse,Greenfield,Mrs. C.T.Woodward,Carlinville,and Mrs.Dora Cooper, Palmyra. She leaves also eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mrs.Landon was a member of the Second Adventist church of Auburn. The body was taken to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the Dawson & Wikoff chapel and at 2 pm at Auburn. Burial will be in Auburn.
