Charles (Charlie) Clark, 83, a retired farmer of Eminence route 2 died at 4:20 Saturday, November 27 at Mallory-Taylor Hospital, LaGrange.

Survivers are his wife, Mrs. Mamie D. Clark; one daughter, Mrs .Velma C. Smith, Eminence; nine sons, Howard Clark, English, Hubert Clark, Cecil Clark and Orville Clark all of Campbellsburg, W.D. Clark, Otis Clark, and Earl Clark all of Eminence, Russell Clark of Pleasureville and Irvin Clark of Sulphur; 22 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Maude Briley, Turners Station; 3 brothers, Gil Clark, Pleasureville, Willie Clark, New Castle and Sam Clark, Campbellsburg.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday from Prewitts, New Castle conducted by J. Gano Herndon. Burial was in the Franklinton Cemetery.

Casketbearers were John Penn, Dean Clark, Hubert Clark, Jr., Daniel Clark, Carrol Clark, and Steve Mertz.

(Charles Clark was the son of George & Sarah Clark.)
