Johnny Ray Black, Sr., age 62, Russellville, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 18, 2015.

Johnny Ray was a hardworking man, a loving husband, and a good father. He was a member of Mt. Home #2 Church.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Patricia “Patsy” Black; son, Johnny R. Black, Jr. (wife, Amanda); daughter, Denisha “Poochie” Black; grandchildren, Hayleigh Black, Lauryn Black, Gabe Brooks, Dylan Snow, Corey Snow, Hannah Snow, Maryann Jones, Terri Jones; mother, Julia Bertha Black; brother, Bobby Black (wife, Vickey); and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, J. C. Black; and brother, Tommy Wayne Black.

The pallbearers will be Bobby Holley, Chad Holley, Timmy Kimbrough, Dylan Snow, and Corey Snow. The honorary pallbearer will be Joe Black.
