Mr. James Timmons, age 94, passed away Friday morning, December 18, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Timmons was a World War II veteran having serving with United States Army Air Force. He was previously employed with Lockheed- Martin and also worked at Cape Canaveral. He eventually retired after many years of successful self- employment the last being Jim’s Garage Door Service.
Mr. Timmons was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn A. Timmons; mother and father and four sisters.
The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, December 21, 2015 in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Dexter Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military honors to be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 1pm- 2:00pm Monday at Resthaven prior to the service.
