Abstract: Died at a local hospital. A native of Utah, he lived in Long Beach for 12 years, his home being 641 Dakota street. He was a part-owner of the Long Beach Oil company. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary L. Sackett; children Howard, Kenneth, Thad, Paul and Merle; mother Mrs. P.E. Sackett; brother Hugh (the last two of Long Beach); brother Frank Sackett of Utah; sisters Mrs. Powell of Long Beach and Mrs. Ellison of Salt Lake City.
