Virginia A. “Ginnie” Beck, age 67, of 1505 Cadbury Ridge, Quincy, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 4:12 p.m. in Blessing Hospital.

Ginnie was born on July 31, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of Robert and Helen Hart Wlecke. On August 10, 1968 she married Thomas R. Beck in Quincy, He survives.

Ginnie was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. She had worked at The Yarn Barn and Jack’s. Ginnie enjoyed camping, crochet, needlepoint, and knitting. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, survivors included: two children: Thomas (Amy) Beck, Jr. and Deborah (Curt) Adams, both of Quincy; eight grandchildren: Abigail, Emily, Hannah, Clare, Mia, and Ava Beck; and Collin and Caitlyn Adams, all of Quincy; two sisters: Mary Liz Brace of Quincy; and Sue “Tootie” (Larry) Million of Canton, OH.

Ginnie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sydney Carley; and a granddaughter, Courtney Hope Adams.

Services: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Barker officiating.

Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery
