Evelyn Mary Amundson, 76, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at St. John's of Hays Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Hays to Roy and Ida (Rupp) Binder.

She married John Amundson in October 1992 (husb. obit has 10/22/1982) in Hays. She was a motel housekeeper.

Survivors include two sons, David Flinn, Troy, Mo., and Pat Flinn, Marshall, Mo.; three daughters, Donna Bernard, Lyons, Ill., Diana Frogue, Mount Vernon, Mo., and Debra Cotter, Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Cooper; Hays; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Ellen Alley; two brothers, Robert and Charles Binder; and a sister, Marie Molleker.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Evelyn Amundson memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
