Mr. Jeffery Cress Watson, age 37 of the Foster Crossroads Community of Oneida, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born December 17, 1978 in Oneida, TN, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Veda Carol Slaven Watson. Jeffery was a member of the Big Ridge Baptist Church since 1987. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother; sisters: Darlene and Flonnie Marie Watson; niece: Amy Nicole Walden; and his grandparents. He is survived by his fiancée: April Hammock; son: Nicolas Gage Watson; sisters: Lucille Webb and husband Randall, Flora Evelyn Watson and fiancé David Burchfield, Jessica Louise Jeffers and husband John Roy, all of Oneida, Lena Mae Crowley and husband David of Dalton, GA; brothers: Michael Eugene Watson, Marshall Wayne Watson and wife Rhonda, Rocky Lee Watson and wife Glenna, Jason Watson, Mickey Watson and fiancée Beth Stevens, Donald Ray Watson and fiancée Tiffani Harmon, Scott Allen Watson, Derek Watson and wife Desirae, all of Oneida, TN; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; Friends may visit with the Watson Family on Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 6 until 9 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Kidd and Bro. Bobby Hill officiating. Music will be provided by Pat Kidd, Jacob Burke and Whitney Walden. Burial will follow in the Rob Watson Cemetery in the Foster Crossroads Community. Pallbearers will be his brothers.
