Rhonda Jill Brooks (nee Keay), 55 of Peoria, formerly of Plano and Naperville, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 14, 2015 in an automobile accident. Born November 23, 1960, the daughter of Ronald and Mary Florence (Stout) Keay, she grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano High School in 1978. She was employed by Seico Security in Pekin, IL. Survivors include her loving husband Tim Brooks, 6 children; Jillian Yunger, Laura (Anthony) Harrison, Nichole (Tom Phistry) Yunger, Abby Houillon, Hannah Houillon and Aaron Houillon; 2 grandchildren, Eli and Eva Arias; 4 step-children; Tim (Agnieszka) Brooks, Elizabeth (Cory) Allen, Cristoffer (Lacey) Brooks, and Olivia and Connor Duncan.2 sisters Phyllis (Guy) West and Karen Hoyle; 1 brother, Kevin (Jill) Keay, many nieces and nephews and her sweet dog Bella. The mother of 2 sets of triplets, she was a proud mother and loved each one of them with her whole heart. A talented seamstress and a self -admitted "slave to fashion" she studied clothing design at College of DuPage and made many of the children's holiday clothing, as well as her wedding dress. Rhonda was fun-loving and always the life of the party. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who met her. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald E. Keay, grandparents; Louis and Pauline Stout, Bennett and Voliet Ormsby and Oris Everett Keay. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. followed by service at 5:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St, Sandwich, 815.786.6715. A memorial service will be held in Peoria, IL at a later date. Rhonda will be cremated with her ashes buried at the West Serena Cemetery near her father.
