Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, with the Reverend Bob Hiatt and the Reverend Harrell Hiatt officiating. Interment will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mr. Williams was born in Guilford County to the late Carl Stafford and Betty Harrell Williams. For more than 33 years he worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer with Sears-Roebuck Company. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia Stevens Williams; brothers, J.T. Williams of Bedford, Va. and Clarence Williams of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Mary Sellers of Breman, Ga., Ruth Hiatt of High Point and Violet Walker of Cherokee, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman, Ivy and Richard Williams; and sister, Ellen King.
