According to her entry in the 1900 census, Emmeretta had nine children. Eight can be identified: Anna Bell, Louisa Jane, Ellen D. (Hellen), Mary W., Sally (married to Charles W. Landis), Josephine, Edward Wharton and Benjamin Jacob.
