Dover – Doris Jeanne David of Lowell Ave. died Monday August 2, 2010 at Exeter Healthcare.

A native and lifelong resident of Dover, she was the daughter of Daniel Raymond and Alice (Grenier) Flynn and was a graduate of St. Mary High School. She and her husband wintered in New Smyrna Beach, FL for many years.

Prior to her retirement in 1990 she was a supervisor for New England Telephone Co. and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was a communicant of the Parish of the Assumption, St. Mary Church.

Survivors include her husband of 45-years Samuel David, two brothers Daniel R. Flynn and wife Dora, Richard R. Flynn and wife Jean all of Dover, and all of her nieces and nephews who were very special to her.

There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday August 9th at the Parish of the Assumption, St. Mary Church, corner of Chestnut & Third Sts. Friends are invited.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
