Paul E. Lentz, 78, of Seven Fields, PA, formally a 52 year resident of Franklin, died peacefully after an extended illness on Wednesday, December 16, at Concordia of Cranberry Nursing Home in Mars.

Born on February 17th, 1937 in Karns City, Paul was the son of E. Yates and Dora (Storey) Lentz. He graduated in 1955 from Karns City High School.

He served four years in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, NM.

After discharge, he moved to Franklin in 1961 to work as a traffic supervisor for Amalie Refining Company. In 1969, he went to work for Pennzoil Company where he held positions as traffic manager and export coordinator before becoming the material supply manager for Pennzoil's Gumout Division.

Paul was married on July 12, 1958 in Mater Dolorosa Church in Chicora, PA to his best friend and love of his life, Linda (Miller) of Karns City, who still survives. They celebrated 57 years of marriage this past summer.

He is also survived by a daughter, Jamie E. Harper, and her husband, AJ, of Seven Fields, PA; a son, Paul J. Lentz, and his wife, JoAn, of Charleroi, PA; four grandsons: Lt. Benjamin Harper of Ft. Leavenworth, KS; John Harper of Sagamore Hills, OH; and Nicholas & Nathan Lentz of Charleroi, PA.

Paul is additionally survived by his brother, Larry Lentz, and his wife, Carole, of Greenville, PA; and two nephews: Joshua Lentz, and his wife, Michelle; and Lee Lentz, and his wife, Aryn; and their children.

Paul was preceded in death only by his parents.

Interment will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia, PA.
