Dennis M. Fleming, 63, of Thailand and formerly of Rockton, IL, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2014 in Thailand.
He was born in Beloit, WI, on April 4, 1951 to Doug and Doris (Knapp) Fleming. Dennis was a graduate of Hononegah High School in 1969 and a graduate of Illinois State University in 1974.
Dennis moved to California in 1981 where he worked as a high tech recruiter and in 2003 relocated in Thailand where his son was located. He taught English and enjoyed it very much. Dennis enjoyed his family and friends and was an avid sports fan whether competing or watching.
Dennis is survived by his son, Michael Fleming of Thailand; daughter, Shannon (Jason) Hammond of Chicago, IL; his parents, Doug and Doris Fleming of Rockton, IL; and numerous friends in several locations.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Willis (Floy) Knapp and Harry (Dorothy) Fleming, an aunt, Vivian (Bert) Lindstrom.
A Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Gene Van Galder and Reverend Steven Erkel officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
