There is a Kentucky Birth Index listing for Louise that lists her birth on March 14, 1859. Her Missouri death certificate lists her birth on March 14, 1861. Both record the same parents.

Louise was with her parents in Rowan County, Kentucky in the 1860, 1870, & 1880 census reports.

B. F. Cassity, of El Dorado Springs, Cedar County, Missouri and L. F. Crosthwait of Howard, Vernon County, Missouri, were married on January 1, 1902 in Cedar County. (Missouri marriage record) They were together in the 1910 and 1920 Cedar County census reports. O. Perry, Bettie, and Jennie Cassity, siblings of B. Frank Cassity, were with them.

Lou F. Cassity was a widow in the 1930 El Dorado, Cedar, Missouri census, again with Cassity in-laws. Lou Cassity remarried to William H. McGovern on July 24, 1933. (Cedar County, Missouri marriage record.

Her Missouri death certificate records her name as Mrs. Louise Cassity McGovern.
She was buried in the city cemetery on March 23, 1936.
