James E. Adams, 78, of Davis Junction passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. Born Sept. 19, 1936, in Caruthersville, Mo., the son of James and Georgia (Hargett) Adams. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Married Janet Seaworth. Employed by Chrysler for 35 years, retiring in 2007. Avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include sons, Timothy (Amy) Adams and Steve Adams; grandchildren, Bryan (Wendy) Edmonds, Emilee Adams, Timmy Adams and Christopher "Meaty" Adams; great-grandchildren, Brayden Edmonds and Jackson Edmonds. Predeceased by his wife. Service at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.
