Larry served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, Utah, and a member of the LDS Church.
At the time of his passing, he was survived by his wife, two daughters, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred S. and Genevive Jensen Leishman, as well as his son Lane, daughter Lindy, sister Marsha, and brother Doyle.
