Services for Mr. McCrary will be 11 AM Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Randy Ward officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM Thursday, May 3, 2007. Mr. McCrary, 73, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home. He was born and raised in Wilson County. After a two year enlistment in the U. S. Army from 1956 t0 1958, he worked for Ben Arnette and then for Murfreesboro Water and Sewer, where he retired in 1999 after 36 years. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Dollie McCrary; and sisters, Thelma Jernigan and Mary E. Wright. Survivors include: wife, Ruby McCrary; daughter, Chelsea J. Sanders; nephews, Randy (Susan) Sanders and Sandy (Melanie Howard) Sanders; brother, Frank (Ruthann) McCrary; sisters, Alice Newman, Elizabeth McCrary, Voline Perry and Mildred (Roy) Gannon; special nieces and nephew, Annette (Lee) Shelton and Eddie and Judy McCrary; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. Employees of Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department, Ben Arnette and Euel Sanders will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alive Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
