Sophia Van Tassel, wife of H. F. House, died at her home in Townsend, Ohio, November 13, 1884.
She left a babe 6 weeks and 3 days old to suffer a mother's loss.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. J. P. Slip of Olena, assisted by Rev. H. Place of East Townsend.
