Linda Kay Hancock, 62, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Mrs. Hancock was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville and active member of Gardenview Baptist Church. Linda loved scrapbooking and camping with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Rubina Thomas. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Otis Hancock; two sons, Joe Hancock and Eddie Hancock (Amanda); one brother, Jimmy Thomas; two grandchildren, Masyn and Emma Hancock; several nieces and nephews, other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 25, at Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Road, with Rev. Gary Holmes and Rev. Gary Griffis officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery in Yulee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue.
