Jacob Allen Baker, 3-month-old son of Benny E. and Sarah A. (Kessler) Baker, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home early Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13, 2015, from complications from his heart condition which he had struggled with since birth.
He was born Sept. 14, 2015, in Louisville, Ky.
Jacob Allen is survived by his parents; his big sister, Ava Louise Baker; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Janet Kessler of Huron; paternal grandmother, Cleo Pfeiffer of Norwalk; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Kessler of Huron; aunts, uncles and thousands of cousins; and also a large, loving network of family and friends.
Jacob Allen was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Baker; maternal great-grandparents, Edwin and Thelma Cummings; maternal great-grandfather, Maurice Kessler; and paternal great-grandparents, Allen and Evelyn Heston.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sandusky.
