Daniel M. Ruggiero, 37 of Nutley and formerly of Belleville, on Monday, June 28 at the Clara Maass Medical Center. Mr. Rugiero was born in Belleville and resided there until moving to Nutley three years ago. He was employed by the Township of Belleville Public Works Dept. for the last year and a half. Mr. Ruggiero attended Fairleigh Dickenson University in Rutherford, was a coach for the Special Olympics and a member of the varsity club.
Mr. Ruggiero was the beloved son of Rosemarie (Merlucci) and
Daniel Ruggiero, Jr.; the grandson of Rose Merlucci, brother of Cindy Ann
Mitchell and uncle of Danielle and Nicholas. Funeral 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 2, from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home. Mass 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
