David A. Minks, 55, of League City, TX was born October 4, 1954 in El Dorado, KS and passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in a Houston hospital. He was a Personal Banker with Chase Bank in the Baytown branch. He was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in League City where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Tomball Masonic Lodge #1096 and the Chinar Grotto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilbert and Pauline Minks. He is survived by his wife, Pam Minks; son, Chris Minks; stepsons, Derrick Johnson and Karl Johnson; sister, Sherry Kent; brother, Ron Minks; and grandchildren, Emma and Jem Johnson.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday, June 14, 2010 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Jan Sattem officiating. Additional services will be held later in the week with burial in Greensburg, KS.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, c/o Kathy Wolfe, 18211 Carriage Lane, Nassau Bay, TX 77058.
