Karen Echols,70, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in her residence. She was born to Houser and Bessie (Merriman)Echols, August 12, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio.

She retired from Mental Health Services with 24 years of service. She is survived by two loving devoted sons Eric Edward Echols and Erinn B Echols, special friend Ollie Martin, 8 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Nona Fullen, Sharen Carter and Paulette Echols, 2 brothers Robert Leon (Margaret) Echols, Houser Echols Jr., a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Houser and Bessie Echols and 2 brothers, Patrick Echols and Matthew Echols.

Her body was entrusted to the D.B. Washington Funeral Home CHAPEL OF PEACE (323-4555) 1530 S. Yellow Springs Street where friends may call after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until time of services at 12:00 noon.
