Mrs. Dale was born February 19, 1934 in Prineville, Ore. to Carl and Anna (Blaylock) Ringstmeyer. She lived and attended school in Mitchell, Ore. She married Burt R. Dale April 20, 1952 at the Missionary Baptist Church in Mitchell. They were married for 57 years and lived several years in the Seattle/Tacoma, Wash. area before moving to Molalla in 1972. Carolyn devoted her career to homemaking and working as a caregiver to babies and young children. She and her husband Burt were co-janitors at the local Molalla Conservative Baptist Church (Grace Church). She enjoyed needlework, country music, word puzzles and spoiling many pets throughout her life, most recently, her beloved cat Mr. Gray.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Dale. She is survived by; daughters Marlene (David) Thomason and Gayla (Daniel) Brandow; sister, Laverne (Ringstmeyer) Luedtke; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial was held at Grace Church in Molalla and her burial was at Adams Cemetery.
