Paul Stegeman, age 90, of Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, December 13, 2015 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. Paul was born on December 8, 1925 in Two Rivers, son of the late Walter and Wanda (Heller) Stegeman. He was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1943. On September 18, 1946 he married the former Marion Dose at Emanuel Evangelical Church, Two Rivers. The couple farmed in the town of Kossuth for 10 years and then moved to Manitowoc. Paul was employed with Lake to Lake Dairy Co. as a route salesman for 20 years. He was also employed with RR Express and Eis Implement Co. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for a number of years. Paul was a charter member of the Cool City Chordsmen and also sang with the Clipper City Chordsmen for over 20 years. He was a member of Emanuel United Methodist Church where he also sang in the choir. Survivors include his wife: Marion Stegeman, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Myrtle Ulrich, Two Rivers, Corrine Dose, Manitowoc; twelve nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers-in-law: Shirley Hoefle Potter, Ron Hoefle, Boyd Potter, Erwin Dose and Roy Ulrich. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joan Frost and Rev. Tara Tetzlaff with burial to follow at Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
