Patricia Jane "Patty" Gould, age 48, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on July 16, 1967, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Donald Nye and Maxine Elizabeth (Morhart) Ater.
Patty graduated from Edgerton High School, and currently was a student at IPFW majoring in secondary education.
She was currently employed at Brain Balance in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was a member of Zion Missionary Church, Fremont, Indiana.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Lauren Gould of Fremont, Indiana, and Elizabeth Nichole Gould of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her mother, Maxine Ater of Fremont, Indiana; a sister, Beth (Randy) Blotter of Fremont, Indiana; a brother, David (Becky) Ater of Edon, Ohio; and she was god mother to a great-niece, Brielle Veden, Fremont, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Nye Ater.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Zion Missionary Church, with the Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.
Calling hours will be held prior to the services from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Missionary Church, Fremont, Indiana.
Burial will follow services at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
Memorials are requested in care of Beams Funeral Home, to defray funeral expenses.
