Gracie Marie Bishop, 86, passed away December 13, 2015 at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, she was born December 15, 1928, the daughter of Vernon and Margaret Gadberry.

A loving wife and mother, she made her job taking care of her family. She was a member of Believers Tabernacle, loved to make dolls, and enjoyed the art of quilting and sewing.

She is survived by 6 daughters, Georgia Livingston, Judy Ast, April Clark, Leela Dillwith, Janice Brown, Martha Waltz; 1 brother Milton (Valerie) Gadberry; 1 sister, Wilma Weis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 1 grandson, Steven Bright, and, 1 great grandson, Mason Ast.

A gathering for friends and family will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM with the family present from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A graveside remembrance will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas with a celebration of life to follow at 1:00 at Believers Tabernacle Church, 17th and Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has set up a memorial with gifts going to Believers Tabernacle Church.

Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson, Kansas, is in charge of arrangements.
