Myrna Angela Jones (nee Payne,) of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015. She was born March 14, 1937, in Kingston, Jamaica, and lived in the U.S. since 1960, in New York City then moved to Las Vegas, 17 years ago. Myrna was a practical nurse, heartfelt and most gracious to all. A devout Christian, she truly loved the Lord. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Myrna is survived by her children, Herman, Fay, Joy and Peter; granddaughters, Tricia and Rachel; four great-grandchildren, Savannah, Lucas, Noah and Christian; as well as nieces; nephews; and numerous loved ones. Visitation will be 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, with services following, both at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St., #110, Las Vegas. Burial to follow at Davis Memorial Park, 6200 S.
