John Westervelt and Mary Ann Johnson had eight children together: Ren, Coon, Florida, Lot, Enis, Jasper, Franklin O. Sr. and Shale Haman Westervelt. They can all be found in the 1860 and 1870 Census for Howard County, Indiana. John Westervelt and Mary Ann Johnson Westervelt are both buried at New Hope Cemetery in Phlox, Howard, Indiana.
v. Martha Ann Westervelt (b. 1 April 1829 in Ross, Butler, Ohio; d. unknown). Family history indicates that she was born at 4:00 in the morning.
vi. Dorothy Westervelt (b. 7 January 1832 in Ross, Butler, Ohio; d. unknown). Family history indicates that she was born at 1:00 in the evening.
vii. Mima Westervelt Stewart (73894312) (b. 3 February 1834 in Ross, Butler, Ohio; d. September 9, 1904 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana). Family history indicates that she was born on 3 February 1834 at 10:00 in the morning. She married Wellington Stewart (73894319) (b. 1823 in Pennsylvania; d. April 3, 1909 in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana). They were married in Butler County, Ohio. They had five children together. They are both buried at Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.
