TYLER, Fred Douglas "Mutt," of Richmond, departed this life December 28, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara A. Tyler; one daughter, Lauren Tyler Hicks (Todd); one son, Douglas E. Tyler Sr. (LaShounda); nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters- in-law, Miriam Hawley and Celestine Tyler; one brother-in-law, Steward Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where family will receive friends Friday, January 2, 2015 from 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015.
