Phyllis (Miles) Reynolds-Kennedy passed to her rest on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Elkhart, IN. She was born to the union of Ralph Miles and Virginia (Betty) Miles on September 23, 1925.
Phyllis entered into marriage with Lavon P. Reynolds. To this union, two sons were born: Curtis L. and Darryl D. Both Lavon and Curtis preceded her in death. Phyllis entered into a second marriage with Bill Kennedy. To this marriage, another son was born: Michael S. Surviving Phyllis are sons, Darryl (Sharon) Reynolds of Edwardsburg, MI and Michael Kennedy of Osceola, IN; grandchildren, Gary, Troy, Adam and Nicole, all of Edwardsburg, MI and Brittany of Buchanan, MI; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Tina Hooley of South Bend. She is also survived by her companion of 41 years, Ray McFadden of Mishawka, IN; as well as Jeron (Nell) Reynolds, James (Sis) Austin, Aaron (Sue) Reynolds and Barbra Kennedy.
Phyllis attended South Side Church of God and was a member of the Edwardsburg, MI VFW Auxiliary #2284.
Funeral services for Phyllis will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 18, 2015 in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Pastor Bob Vale will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 in the funeral home.
