MEYER, Russell E. Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at The Westmount Long Term Care on Friday, December 4, 2015, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Wilma. Loving father of Ray and his wife Cathy. Proud Grandpa of Melissa Bartman (Andrew) and Amanda Meyer (Todd). Great-Grandpa of Talia, Malayna, Brianna, Emily, Nate and the late Austin. Dear brother of Ruth Halter (late Wilfred), Paul Meyer (Arlene) and the late Orval and Carl Meyer. Brother-in-law of Shirley Meyer and Thelma North. Special thanks to the staff at The Westmount Long Term Care for their loving and compassionate care. Russ' family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Christ the King United Church, 167 Thaler Ave. A Memorial Service will be held at the church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
