Ronald David Robbins born October 20th, 1943 died December 13th, 2015. Ron is survived by his wife Judy Anne (Thibault) which he celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 14th, 2015. They have 4 children surviving and 11 grandchildren along with 1 grandson Ryan Michael who passed away in 2002. Ronald David II and Michelle (Mathew, Nathan, Ryan and Mitchel)Robbins, Robert John and Veronica (Jaxen) Robbins, Ross Alfred and Tammy (Chandler, Lindsay and Ross) Robbins, and Jeanne Anne and Rusty (Rusty, Jack, Riley and Katherine) Friedle. Also surviving are his sister, Margaret Robbins of Dowagiac, MI and a brother, James (Dorothy) Robbins of Beaver Township, sister-in-law Theron (Suzie) Robbins of Auburn, sister-in-law Judy (Robbins) Jezak of Beaver Township, sister-in-law Suzanne Ambrose of Auburn, brother-in-law Jim (Val) Thibault of Bay City, numerous nieces and nephews along with countless special friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Francis II and Madelyn, his brothers Francis III and Richard and one sister Madelyn, father and mother-in-law Al and Stella Thibault. Ron was proud of many accoumplishments throughout his life but most of all his family. He loved spending time in his garage and sharing stories with his grandchildren. He was owner of Robbins Auto Truck and Trailer for over 25 years and has lived in Beaver Township all his life, serving his community for the last 15 years as Township Supervisor with a very special accompliment of creating a Township park over the past 10 years. He also enjoyed riding his atv, camping, fishing and site seeing with his wife.

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 17, 2015 at Prince of Peace Parish-Sacred Heart Campus (Beaver & Fraser Roads). Rev. Fr. Christopher Coman and Deacon Michael E. Arnold will officiate with burial to follow in Beaver Twp. Cemetery. Ron’s family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. On Thursday morning Ron will lie in state at the CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. until time of liturgy. Those planning an expression of sympathy, envelopes for St. Jude's Research Hospital will be available.
