Gladys Venita Cole, 89, of Booneville, passed from this life on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Booneville. She was born November 4, 1926 in Sugar Grove, Arkansas to Jesse Cole and Ora Lou (Price) James.

She was a member of the Grace Church in Booneville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John H. Cole; Brothers, Burly Dale James and Jesse Q. James and a sister, Janelle Weaver.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Grace Church in Booneville with burial in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith (1:00PM), under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

She is survived by four daughters, Louise McClure and husband John of Gatesville, Texas, Peggy Rogers, of Booneville, Willie Mae Chong of Alma and Betty Cole of Fort Smith; two sons, Jimmie Goff and wife Patricia of Arkoma, AR and Johnny Goff and wife Donna of McGregor, Texas; one brother, Charles A. Goff of Barber; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chad Rogers, Jeff Rogers, Charles Goff, David Bills, Vince Ross, and Draper Lawson.

Honorary Pallbearer, Brian King. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home.
